Baked Steak With Mustard Sauce

Serve steamed asparagus with this. Do not cut asparagus, break with your hands discarding the woody end part.

Ingredients:
2 1/2" thick sirloin steak 6cm
freshly ground pepper to taste
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 cup ketchup 250ml
3 Tbsp. butter, melted 45ml
1 Tbsp. lemon juice 15ml
1 small green pepper, seeded & sliced
few drops Worcestershire sauce
chopped fresh parsley (1 small bunch)

Mustard Sauce
2 Tbsp. butter 30ml
2 Tbsp. bar-b-que sauce 30ml
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 10ml
2 tsp. dry mustard 10ml
2 Tbsp. cream 30ml

Instructions:
Preheat broiler. Place steak in broiler pan 4" (10cm) below heat. Sear both sides. Remove meat and drain off fat. Season with pepper. Mix all ingredients and pour over steak in pan. Bake at 425F (220C)for 30 minutes. Remove to a warm platter.

To Make Mustard Sauce
Melt butter and mix all ingredients except cream. Heat over medium heat. Remove from heat; stir in cream. Heat again. Pour over cooked steak and sprinkle with parsley.
